Default World's first 'Smoking Carbon Cub'

Thought you all might want to see pics of the world's first 'smoking Cub'. Special thanks to Calvin Brandt, the owner of this brand new bird, for allowing us to fly this photo mission. He had a Smoking Airplanes smoke system installed in his new plane (www.smokingairplanes.com). I hope Calvin will post more pics here as he takes delivery of his new Carbon Cub and uses the smoke to dazzle the crowds. We shot video as well, look for something to be posted on our web site soon.

Great looking plane Calvin. I still owe you a phone call. Haven't forgotten.

Third tank installed? Or do you have one side of the fuel system pulling double duty?

4-into-1 exhaust is perfect for a smoke set-up. Injector right there at the junction or four individuals up closer to the heat? We get best output compared to best power at the junction in the 540's. Ran individual injectors at one point in the Chipmunk but felt like it was backing up the exhaust slightly due to the volume. I'm curious how it would be on the four cylinder.

WOW! I'd say there's a 2013 Calendar Picture in there somewhere!

    Well that's pretty sweet!!!
Mitch, looks like we're gonna have to add some parts to my CC EX order. And stay tuned for some smoke trail footage over Granite Lake, Ontario, Canada, summer of 2013.
What a great video..good work whoever produced and shot it!

    Randy,
How about coming up with a lightweight O-390 and clipped wings as options on the carbon cub?
