    Default Aux fuel tanks

Standard fuel is 24 gals in 2 tanks and
With aux you have 44 gal total with only
40 usable. Is the 4 gals the 1/2 for
    Reserve?

    1. I see that these aux tanks free flow to
Mains. Are there any directional valve
Between the aux and main tank?

    2. Do y'all fill aux tank and let it flow
To main tank. Are fill each tank separate.

    Thanks.

The 4 gallons "unusable" is not considered the 1/2 hour reserve. Keep in mind that is worst case scenario when the outlet in the tank will come out of the fuel left. IE; that is what is estimated will be left in the tank when the engine coughs when you are doing a slipping turn.

There is no valve between the aux and main. The dihedral of the wing puts the "aux" tanks slightly higher than the main tanks.

If you have the big tanks option there is only one filler neck; on the "aux" tank. If you kept the filler neck on the inboard tank you would not be able to fill them full as it would come out of the inboard filler neck when you topped off the outboard one.

Good explanation, Pete. I was wondering about fuel transfer as well. Gravity feed makes perfect sense and keeps it simple which seems to be Cubcrafters' motto.
