You can practically see Victoria from Roche Harbor. Somebody get this guy on it!

If I was back in WA, I would take my Sport Cub on that strip and blow them away so you can imagine what a Carbon Cub would do!

There's already plenty of videos of other planes going out of there no problem, it was bad piloting in the video. I saw a video last week of another Stinson going out of there loaded up, no issue.

It is a Carbon Cub, one of the first several we built. It was in Montana, got hail damage, came to YKM for repairs (Ethen and I flew over and got it). While it was here it changed hands, and when it was done I flew it up to Roche for the new owner. Very nice guy. I have talked with him on the phone but never met him face to face.

I Googled mapped it and scaled it - not counting the down-hill dip to the lake - there's 700 feet max of runway. Max. There is an issue with that so-called 'field'. 'Marginal' might be an apt term. ;-)

LOL. George, you're still my boomer, bucket-list hero, no matter what they say about you. ;-)

Oh, the usual stuff about what boomers should be doing at this stage - rocking chairs and shuffleboard. I don't listen to 'them' either. I really enjoy your energy and excitement on here, I'm sure lots of others do as well! God bless.
