7AK mesa table top touch and go diving off cliff
With Rob Hagendorn videoing from the front seat me flying from the rear peeking over his shoulder doing a touch and go on a mesa tabletop and then diving over the cliff for airspeed in the backcountry of AZ.
It was at least 6000MSL density altitude, maybe more, the performance edge of a loaded S1. Rob has several fun videos to share and we will post them over time.
There is nothing like backcountry cubdriving!
Life is good!

And he wonders why he gets holes in his fabric.....
Just kidding Geo
That looks like fun! Maybe next winter I'll take a road trip down to come flying with you.

Pete,
You are right again...I did get some fabric bruising on the right landing gear legs fabric..on the mesa or Red Creek that day....dang it!!! If I keep this up before its over 7AK will have been practically recovered with new fabric and paint!! LoL!!
RanRan...thanks buddy for the kudos but just wringing out my S1 to the edge getting all I can get out of her! If I only had a carbon cub!!!!
Wait to you see the next videos...Rob gave me the chip with some awesome HD video on some fun flyin!
"Live large and leave a legacy"...Isn't life great!!!!

George, I'm really glad you connected with Rob. He's a great guy and a new pilot and I'm glad he's getting to see more of what he can do with his own plane.
Fly safe!

Yep Randy, Rob and I had a great time. He is a very nice guy and passionate about flying also! He should be a more involved cubdriver now.
He took a lot of excellent HD video with go-pro HD camera on his head and once I get it edited I will share it with the group.
