I am considering installing the oil filter on my cc340. Are there any pictures available? Any suggestions on how to make the installation simple?

If you order the kit from us you get everything you need except the tools to install it. Hardware, gasket, filter, etc are all in the box. If you do it when you do your next oil change, you will be halfway there already.
To install, you remove oil temp probe and vernatherm hole plug.
Remove the 4 bolts holding the oil screen housing just like you would normally on an oil change.
Remove the housing and old gasket.
At this point you will need to take the oil cooler hose off of the fitting that is nearest the oil screen and change the fitting that screws into the back of the engine from a straight to a 45 degree (make sure that this comes with you order, it is the only part that is Carbon Cub specific)
Hook the end of the oil cooler line to the new 45 degree fitting
Install the oil filter adapter using the provided gasket, sealer & new hardware
Install the oil temp probe and plug using the new gaskets provided in the kit.
Install the oil filter, torque, safety
finish oil change, pour in new oil and run up, leak check before reinstalling cowling.
Should add only a few minutes to a typical oil change time.

I installed the oil filter adapter on my Carbon Cub at the last oil change. As Pete says, make SURE you have the correct oil line fitting; other than that, it's easy and goes on just as he suggests. (But it does take about 30 minutes!!)

I am also considering instalation of an oil filter and would like to see pictures.
Anyone have pictures?

I will try and get something up the next time we have a cowling off that has one. Right now even though the shop is full nothing that is equipped with a filter adapter has the cowling off.
