Vendor operating software updates

From time to time vendors update the software in their products as they fine tune things. Here are quick links to software updates for various vendor units. I will add to this as I collect more.


GARMIN


Webupdater will update operating software in GPS 196, 296, 396, 496, 695/696, 550, 560 units

The GPSMAP 695/696 can be updated by plugging the unit in to the computer using the updater program above or you can download the update on to an SD disk and transfer it to the GPS using this link:

TRU TRAK

Software V 2.42 is current in the Tru Trak AP's used in Carbon Cubs right now (11/18/2010). The units have to be sent to Tru Trak for update if/when they do software updates. This happens rarely however.

I've been updating the software as I have been getting the notifications. Look at the date the first post was edited and the reason to see when and what the latest changes were in small print at the bottom of the post.
