Trig Radio Ty91

Got the strobes replaced in CC11-160-0337.
Still have white noise off and on on primary display
with RX displayed. Like the squelch is on.
some suggest it’s a ground problem.

checked the Antanae and pulled the radio out of panel..
Does anyone know how it’s grounded.

Should be pin 19 on the trig com to the ground bus behind the panel.

What antenna is on it? Probably the wire whip COM antenna? On the turtle deck or on the belly?

Might look up the Trig manual, see if there are any squelch adjustments.

And disconnect the strobe lights one at a time. See which one is causing the noise. If it is the tail strobe, later aircraft grounded the shield of the strobe harness to the back of the data plate tab to reduced noise from that light.
