New video released - Rib Grommet Installation

Several builders have asked for a video showing how-to install the circlips that hold the grommets into the wing ribs.

We added a short Grommet Installation video to the EX2 and EX3 video library in the kit Dropbox folder showing how the production techs install these.

Also in final review and out soon is a video with tips, tricks and how-to install the fuel tanks into the wing.

I had a devil of a time putting the clips in place without having at least one snap off to places unknown. Then I had the opportunity to remove one and that wasn’t any easier. I finally found an easy solution. External Retaining Ring, for 3/4” outside diameter, available at McMaster-Carr, part no. 96363A578. They are available in a wide range of sizes. A pair of ring pliers is all that is needed to install.
