Out of curiosity, what are the aural alerts that you all have set?

Ugh, that sounds frustrating! I ran into the same problem after updating my G3X. I found that the audio settings sometimes reset to default, so double-check if the annunciations are enabled. If that’s not it, try a full reboot—sometimes that does the trick. When I had this issue, Garmin support was pretty helpful too.
Left Lewiston after delivery first week of August with all the annunciators working. Some time in the past they quit working unless the music button on the GTR200 was pressed. I don’t get terrain msgs (terrain is on in config and settings), AP OFF pressed, Switch Tanks, Traffic, anything that has an annunciator. I never get the ignition test annunciator now.
I’ve checked the config page for Audio Panel and Comm radio

I can’t figure out if there is a setting not correctly set. Also can't figure out if it's a setting in the GTR 200. What suck is I have to have Music pressed on GTR 200 so I get to here the Sirius XM ad asking me to sign up.
Reached out to Pete a week ago but haven't heard back yet. Dropped an email to parts over a month ago...Nothing....pinged them tonight and got a reply.
Any help??

I have a vague recollection that this problem is related the a GTR 200 squelch level settings. I don't think I can help more without checking my own settings but every alert that the G3X Touch produces has to pass through the GTR 200 unless you have the remote audio panel option.

I’ll check that out. Odd the the Music button in the GTR has to be pressed to get annunciations. But, don’t get the ignition test annunciations any more at all.

The GDU 465 has two sound paths to the GTR 200. One is stereo and usually used for music from the XM receiver, the other is mono and usually used for alerts. I think the GTR 200 Music button enables reception of the stereo channel.
There is a GDU 465 option that defines which channels the alerts are output on.
"Alert Audio Output–If set to Mono & Stereo, alert tones and messages will be output on both the mono and stereo outputs. If set to Mono Only, alert tones and messages will be output only on the mono output. If set to Stereo Only, alert tones and messages will be output only on the Stereo output."
See GDU Configuration - Sound
ref G3X Touch installation manual para 30.4.20 Sound Configuration Page
Check that you are not configured for "Stereo Only".
Edit to add - I have never heard audio alerting for the ignition test but I do see the red CAS annunciations. Now you've given me something to check.

I don’t know if it helps or not but here are a couple of posts I made about this type event.
