    Default Snap vent popping open

Have an issue with the snap vents popping up (open) spontaneously while in Flight. I've turned the vent so the solid portion is facing forward. This position has improved the issue but has not completely rectified the problem. Has anybody found a solution? Perhaps some sticky material around the vent lip to hold the vent flush, until pushed up?

I'll take a guess at it. Disclaimer; I fly an EX-2, so the vents may be different.

    1) possible positive pressure inside the cabin popping open the vents?? It seems that it would take a lot of pressure to pop mine open.

    2) the retaining spring on the vents is not seated properly causing not enough force to keep the vents closed (positive pressure inside/lower pressure outside??)

Let us know what for find out. Cheers

You may find a slight improvement if you remove the metal wire and bend it slightly to get a little bit more tension.
