Default Draft Schematic Light Speed Ignition

Each time someone reports a problem with Light Speed Engineering electronic ignition system I look back through my notes to remind myself how everything is connected. Each time I wish I had a diagram that showed all the modules and their interconnection. I have never seen one so I decided to create it myself.

The attached PDF is a rough first draft. Review and comments appreciated. Hopefully the final version will be useful to all owners and maintainers of CubCrafters aircraft that use this ignition system.

Thanks. I'm working on color coded version that may be easier to follow.

Current draft adds color coding. Drawing name is changed to "System Block Diagram".

This drawing is not intended to replace the ignition schematics published by CubCrafters. In case of any conflict the CubCrafters schematics shall have precedence.

You could include the diode that charges the ignition battery

    Thanks for the comment.

The block diagram is intended to show which spark plug is driven by which ignition module, sensor, and coil. I intentionally did not include the details of battery charging, the emergency ignition selector switch, warning lights, and G3X ignition discretes. That detail is provided in the CubCrafters schematics.
