Camp Cubcrafters

I have often read references to Camp Cubcrafters at Oshkosh.

I take it that it is a big marketing effort, with test rides etc., maybe from a nearby airport? Is it also a gathering of CC people and airplanes? I guess I haven't been invited, but can I show up?
