    Look at those pictures Dave, cockpit side it's the GREEN/WITE that is supposed to be the shield's grounding, and at the tail it's that famous blue on to the plate.

    Yes, it’s hard to tell but that is the green/white wire there at the panel and it’s the ground wire going back to the nav light and not the shield. Look at the schematic. It shows the green/white wire combines with the shield and goes to ground at the fuse grounding tab. I think the tic marks show that shield grounding wires at the ends

    It doesn’t ground at the rudder though. That blue wire is just combining the shield for that segment of harness in the rudder to the shield on the rest of the harness going to the panel and grounds it at the data plate screw. There is no ground in the rudder.
