My 2008 Sport Cub elevator trim jack screw is stuck. Motor runs but it won't move elevator. I sprayed it with silicone. No luck.
Anybody else have an issue with this, or any advice? Thanks.

If the motor is actually turning it seems you would have a disconnect between the acme screw and the motor (roll pin on my 2010 CC). Perhaps the pin is sheared of fell out? There should be safety wire through the pin and then around the shaft to prevent it from falling out.
I just looked at mine yesterday doing the condition inspection.

Thanks Dan, I'll check it out.
Still having problems. The roll pin did slip out. Replaced it and safety wired. The screw is lubed and turns, but the motor seems to labor and occasionally pops the breaker. Doesn't go the full range it should either. Getting frustrating.
Could there be an alignment issue? Took me some time to discover and resolve that during the original installation of the system. https://forum.cubcrafters.com/showth...ll=1#post27459
Consider replacing the motor. It is not expensive.
Consider loosening the screws holding the motor and apply power. If it moves freely with the screws loosened it may confirm an alignment issue.
The motor has a lot of power and can overcome a fair degree of misalignment. Could be yours has finally given up the ghost from that extra friction.

Thanks! I’ll give it a try. The small access really make it hard to work on. The images really help.
