this was last week up the south fork of the Flathead river in Montana. Meadow Creek airstrip.

Unfortunately the snow in the valley I live in has lost low snow, so I’m grounded with the straight skis now. I may put the wheel penetration skis on. Time will tell.

I started the winter with the WPs and then soon switched to the straights. These big foot print Carbon Concepts straights are such great performers I prefer them if we have low snow.

    Hey Dan
I noticed you have quick disconnect brake lines. I use them on my float planes. Had any trouble with them?

Chuck, actually that’s a standard swivel end on the hose with a plug. I set the parking brake valve before removing the brake line from the calipers and don’t loose a drop of oil. Same procedure when I put the brakes back in place. Don’t even need to bleed the brakes afterwards.

Gotcha ,looked like quick disconnects I use for brakes going from floats to wheels. I do the same lock the brakes when I switch.

Incredible weather today, in the 50's. Suppose to snow tomorrow.

Flew the foothills today looking for Elk. Success
