That'd be great. We've just installed our third Odyssey battery, and will look forward to something better next.
Can you do anything to fix the issues of battery draw while the aircraft is off? I pulled the fuse on the inconvenient "convenience" light in the rear that constantly takes power, but there still seems to be something beating up the battery. When the mains are off, shouldn't there be no draw?
The GPS antenna for an ABS-B system has a keep-alive hot wire going to it. Minimal draw but it is continuous.

Hi Dan…finally got tired of replacing batteries every 2 years and ordered EarthX ETX680C for my CCEX. I noted on page 19 of the battery manual a caution that says “Installation of the battery in the cockpit is not recommended unless the battery is properly vented overboard” Did you vent the battery in the under seat location, and if so, how?
Thanks

The experimental ETX680C is a sealed battery and cannot be vented.
The ETX680-24-VNT is vented (and is 24V).
So to answer your question, my battery cannot be vented.
Panton VT is a nice place. I use to live in North Ferrisburg and work in the Vergennes area. Black Sheep Bistro was my favorite.
