    Default Com antenna questions

I am on day 3 of installing a fuel pod. Have had many challenges along the way and the latest is what to do about the com antenna. Fuel pod sits where it was. I thought I could move it forward but in order to locate it forward I would have to bend it and it sounds like bending it is not a good idea. My local A&P thought there may be a blade type but I can not find one. I am looking for a low cost low labor alternative. Any suggestions on what I should do are appreciated!

That may be my only option. Were you able to remove the old coax ? Mine is taped together with other wires in the boot cowl where you can not access it.
What antenna is that and how hard was that get installed ?
Last question- I need to make a cable, I assume you need a tool for crimping ends on ?
Sorry for all the questions, I find asking questions can save a lot of headaches.

No had to have a new cable made.( I paid a local shop to make) I used the same antenna that was on belly. Cable was easy to run.
