My CGR30P has failed with a white screen. No amount of turning it off and on again has worked. As this is the display for maifold pressure/RPM/Oil etc etc the plane is unflyable and stranded some several hundred km from home

It's been removed and sent to EI for repair for $US495 plus $US150 Freight + Tax + removal and refit.

This is my second EI failure with the tacho on my SS Carbon Cub failing some years ago.

I really would have expected more than three years service life and a better warranty from EI.
