    Default AOSS vs ACME

Anyone with experience with both shocks? Any observations?

This thread you started in January on the same subject didn’t answer your questions?

Acmes are better. AOSS are better than bungees. My experience.

I encountered an issue with the SS I bought into. It’s licensed under S-LSA and requires CC to issue MRA for every change. Turns out ACME shocks are not approved under MRA. We have bungees on it and I didn’t know if I should spend the money going with AOSS which are approved or just stay with the bungees.

This is different to my earlier inquiry which had to do with the shocks for the FX3 I’m building. I’ve finally decided to go with the TacAero ACME shocks.

If you intend on keeping it convert it to E-LSA and do what you want. Otherwise take advantage of a great eighty year old design to hone your landing skills.
