    Default dimple die

I have a kit coming soon and have been practicing riveting. When using a 3/32 dimpling die the hole becomes enlarged and rivet is real loose in the hole. Do you use a larger rivet or just squeeze the rivet and let it fill the space? Thanks Wayne.

Just squeeze the rivet. That is the beauty of aircraft rivets, they expand in the hole, and also clamp the pieces together. And, dimpled or countersunk rivets really help lock the two pieces together.

Be sure to de-burr the holes before you dimple.
