Is there a different recommendation for oil in cold climates? I’ve been using aero shell w80 in winter and w100 in summer in my 182, but will follow the cub-crafters recommendations as closely as possible on my FX3.

Sometimes the weather is too poor to fly in winter for a few weeks consecutively and I’ve read that the straight weight w80/100/120 protects against corrosion on inactive aircraft a bit better & longer than the 15w50 type multiweights.
