As I recall the body is threaded onto the outlet. Remove the wires and twist. Exploded view below fir reference.

This plug as well as the optional backseat 12 volt option is hot wired to the battery via a fuse. Seems like an invitation to deplete the battery. Is there a logic for this design versus protecting it behind the master switch?

When I wired my EX I put a 12v receptacle at the rear side of the seat base and have it direct to the hot side of the master contactor with a fuse. Just like yours, I think. When I’m camping I can charge various devices without the master on. Unless you left something plugged in to it for an extended period (like months) I can’t see it running the battery down.
