    Default Extra Leading edge skin?

Wondering if any kit builders might have an extra leading edge skin that was damaged or a spare for some reason? I have the landing light in my left wing and would like to remove it and cover the hole with a section of a skin.

My plan is to put a small LED Light bar somewhere on the lift strut or Gear. I don’t like the light the way it is in the leading edge.

I have a skin that was pulled off because of a small dent.
For fun I fixed it. It is hard to tell where the dent was.
Send me your address and I will ship it to you.

For resale, I would suggest leaving the wing landing light as is and simply add LED landing lights on the main gear.

Which landing light are you fixing to the gear? I’m interested in one as well.

I haven't selected a unit yet. There are a lot available in 12 volts that are marketed for the truck and Jeep crowd.

I am installing two LED lights on my EX now. This is the type I purchased https://www.bajadesigns.com/products...ight-Black.asp. They’re 2450 lumens each. I looked at a lot of lights before thinking this might be a good choice. I brought them up with a friend building an experimental Cub and he’d made the same choice a while ago. So that sealed the deal with me.

They are a small fixture at 2”x3” and weigh just 8 ounces each. I am mounting them where the lift strut attaches to the wing using the AN5 bolts to hold the furnished brackets. The bolt has been reversed in the picture, ready to accept the SS bracket. I selected the Driving/Combo lenses which will give both good close and long distance illumination.

I’ll post pictures when I finish the installation. They’ll be wired into a Maxpulse wig wag controller too.

I finished up the LED lights today. Everything working as it should. The Maxpulse controller works well and has a lot of options on flashing together or alternating at different rates.
