Garmin G3X Bitchin Betty?

I recently upgraded to the Garmin G3X in a new carbon cub. Now i get this gals voice constantly yelling at me "Terrain Terrain!!" "Pull Up! Pull up!" and cannot for the life of me figure out how to shut her up. I've read the manual cover to cover and spent several hours on the unit flipping through screen without success. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Outer right knob scroll over to Ter. Then push menu. Screen will pop up touch inhibit. She’ll be quiet. Have to do every time you get in it.

Thanks 40m. I will give this a try also. I was able to shut her up yesterday but I need to go into the settings each flight. Perhaps this will take care of her.

I just tried that and my sound screen configuration does not have those options. Maybe different for experimental vs certified?

Mine is in an EX2. Wouldn't think there would be a difference but all new to me.

Well after a call with Garmin Avionics division they explained that the only way to remove this "feature" is to have an authorized Garmin avionics service center go in deep and remove her. I just flew to the nearest avionics service dealer and 95$ later shes gone and done telling me how to live my life.

My airport KHCR (Heber City, Utah) is in a valley surrounded by mountains. Being constantly warned of terrain was never ending.

Turning "Bitchin Betty" off permanently was straight forward on my G3X Touch. In Configuration Mode, Sound Configuration, there's an Enable/Disable switch for Terrain Audio. Set it to Disable and "Betty" stays quiet for Terrain. Left Traffic Alerts on.
