There was a thread somewhere on prop balancing and someone in Wisconsin who is good and reccomended.
I can't seem to find the thread.
It may have been on SuperCub.org.
Anyone know it's whereabouts?

That's the one!
I'll try him.
Thanks Bob.

Jim Barker of Aviation Resources balanced my prop this week.
The prop, as I suspected, had been badly out of balance since the aircraft was delivered.
It is very smooth now.
Here is a polar plot and a "before and after" spectrum analysis.
As you can see, a great improvement was made.
The inner cricle on the polar plot is the "industry standard" for vibration.
My prop is now well under that limit.

The G3 from Insight Avionics has a prop balancing feature while mounted and flying! It tells you where and what size weight to attach to the cone or whatever. Pretty cool.
RanRan,
I've seen that unit @ OSH, advertised on the back of the ABS mag for probably 3 years now...I spoke with John at OSH 2 or more OSh's ago about the product and what the capabilities may be......
No STC at this time per their website....do you know if anyone actually has one installed? I'm pretty sure none have been delivered......
