How much are we betting that mine leaves the factory on 35s under a 1000lbs??
Its a very serious goal...

I hope you make it under 1000. What is being left out to get it that it low?
My EX on 31s is just under 1000. I think the EX2/FX starts out 25 pounds heavier than the original EX. Just like the EX is 25 pounds heavier than the LSA Carbon Cub.
Looking forward to hearing the final weight.
Flying Carbon Cub EX #11 since 2011
EX wings not the g series for weight reduction
standard tanks
world VFR
polytone
Betting my reality is 1010-1020lbs on 31s. Anxious to see

I think that 35s are a net weight gain of about 25 pounds over 31s. I have the big tanks so you're saving some weight going to standard tanks. I also have my own design extended baggage that added 7 pounds. A few other non standard weight additions on my EX would be a Dodge long step, Baby Bushwheel mounted on a Pawnee spring, Odyssey battery, and steam gauges.
I also am coated with Polytone and we have the same wings.
So so it could well be that you'll be very close to the magic 1000 pound empty weight.

My official weight came in at 1013 on 31s
