What happened to you when the line failed?
First the engine quits and then you are on fire???

I also had my primer line break at the gascolatir. At about 200 hours. I thought this was unique to me and my installation but appears it's getting to be what you could call common. At very minimum I like Troy's idea for stabilizing the unit to reduce vibration.
Right. I've got a 4" coil in already but wonder like someone said if 2 coils wouldn't have been a lot better.
Hi, Bill! Actually, I discovered the issue at preflight, so never had a chance to make it a glider.

In 6 years of operation on the west coast i have never needed to use the primer. May be easier for some folks to disconnect and cap the primer line. Anyone know a source for a cap fitting that would plug the primer adapter fitting?

It's a 1/8 npt. I wondered the same thing as two pump of the throttle works so well. We will see how I make out this winter. -2c yesterday and it still fired right up.
