    Default Front spar bolt

The an5-15a bolt is used and the nut fouls the flap arm forcing only a flush nut condition as you can't add a longer bolt. Did you guys leave it, replace the nut with an all metal locking nut which is thinner? I am planning the thinner nut as this will not pass inspection as is.

    Troy,

I can't tell from you picture but if I recall you use the thinner AN364 nut, not the 365. The 364 should leave two threads showing.

That would make way more sense. I do not see a drawing or notes for the nuts at this location. I will do that instead of the solid lock nut.

Found where it says the right nut. It is after the install of all the bolts and in the torque paragraph. More drawings would make this manual so much better.
