    Default Catto props

I have two Catto props for sale:

    1) 80" x 50" with red trim and nickle leading edge. This is the current standard issue prop for the O-340 from Cub Crafters. This one has about 400 hours on it and is in excellent condition. New they're $2950 - will sell for $2500.

    1) 78" x 54" silver color and made prior to the installation of the nickle leading edge. This prop has 150.0 hours on it. This prop combination was the original issue prop for the first Carbon Cubs with the O-340. Excellent condition. $1250.

I am lowering the price of the 80x50 prop to $2250. This prop has 450.1 hours on it. This is a great buy on the go-to prop for the CC-340 engine with not many hours on it. With shipping these are over $3000 from Catto.

    Send a PM if interested.

An 84x42.5. A little quicker takeoff performance. But as always there's a trade off and with this low pitch prop it is a lower cruise speed.

I assume this prop is in "like new" condition with good paint (what color?), and no nicks or scratches? I need a spare prop but can't put more than $1,500 into it. If you decide on a "fire sale", let me know. Thank you.

Asking for a 33% discount, I like it. Let me know when you are selling a "like new" FX.

    Red face Re: Catto props

You can see the colors in post #1 below, the first picture.

Is is it in like new condition? No, I wouldn't call it that. The front side of the prop and leading edge look new, very clean and Nick free. The back side of the blades show the usual bug splatters and a few tiny spots of missing flat black paint. I cleaned it up but there are still some streaks on the back side.

Nearly new looking - yes. Like new - no.

Actually $1500 would be 50% of the new price.

I'd keep it for a spare too but I find as I get older that if I don't part with something when I replace it that I seem to collect too much stuff. I thought it would make a good prop for someone putting together an EX2 or as a replacement for one of the original Catto 76x53 props that came with the first EXs and Carbon Cubs. That's what I did when I bought this 80x50.

Just thought I'd bump this up to see if there's any interest?

    Thanks,
