Phil Whitemore and the Texas STOL Round up 2016 crew was a huge success. We had over 250 aircraft arrivals 86 competitors, with four runs each started a 9:30 ended early afternoon thats 344 takeoff and landings it averaged a take off and landing almost every 2 minutes for the full day.


Huge credit and Thanks to the most efficient airboss Jimmy Gist who doubles as a rodeo clown. and our great volunteers.

Attendance was probly over 2000. I know Face Book says 5000 to 6000 Im not willing to go that far till we get better confirmation..

People are getting excited about STOL flying and competitions..

A huge shout out to our very own Chuck Kinberger who killed it once again, even beating the slatted Carbon Cub. NICE JOB CHUCKY!!!
