    Default In Search of ET

Out having fun in the So, Cal. Desert with the CC. Landed at "Giant Rock" where people have been going to for years to communicate with ET. I tried but had No luck, and ET would not communicate with me.

This place was really rough from the off road kids...But fun. Flew my drone (Inspire 1 with X5 camera, 4K).

    Shot in 4K-

Thumbs up Re: In Search of ET

Steve, that was excellent. By the way is the X5 a new camera on your Inspire 1 or is that the original camera that comes with the unit. Beautifully clear picture.

I'm flying the DJI Inspire 1 PRO- It comes with the new X5 camera, but older Inspire 1 models can use them. The camera is approx. $2,300 with gimbal, lens and vibration plate for older models.

Please note the Ground-Hand Held video was shot using the new DJI OSMO Gimbal and X3 4K camera.
The In-Flight head mount video was shot using the GoPro Hero4 Black in 4K.

Thank you Steve! Next time, maybe on the flight back, just tape the Inspire under your wingtip, ram mount the RC controller next to your iPad, and fly home shooting gimble-stabilized video controlled by you as you fly. Wait, is that a bad idea? There's a good idea in there somewhere...Call Shark Tank...

Very cool video Steve. What are the coordinates for Giant Rock? In case I'm ever out that way.
