Recommendations for Carbon Cub

I have been fantasizing on the Carbon Cub for the past couple of days. Can you guys give me some advice as far as options? I would be using it mostly for camping and fishing. Would like to configure it to be able to land easily in some remote areas-like river banks and such. I also would like the option to carry a passenger and 50 lbs. in gear (around 400 lbs. of flesh max). As far as avionics, I am leaning toward the deluxe panel for weather related purposes.

26 or 29 inch tires are a must. Performance Paint to save weight. Executive panel also weighs less than Deluxe panel.

The video is making it that much harder to wait! Unfortunately I don't think they make a configuration that will fit all of my requirements since the max empty is 900 lbs. I am at 915.xx.

Nope. For me nothing but upside. My CC delivered at 920lbs with 26" tires as an E-LSA. I like the 3" N-Numbers too.

29's , AOSS, Alaskan bush wheel tail wheel/ Baby bush wheel depending on the surface and any panel will do. You can get in and out of some pretty incredible places with this set up.

So what range are we looking at with 400 lbs. of people and 50 lbs. of gear? You're videos are great CaliforniaCub!

Easy to lean her down to 5.2 gallons per hour but 6 gallons per hour is what I use for flight planning. 24 Gallons gives you 3.5 solid hour of flying with 30 minute reserve. At 90 MPH, 3.5 hours gets you 315 miles away with no wind factor.
