Anytime your Cub is operated in a maritime environment, frequent freshwater washing is critical. Pay particular attention to the landing gear (including tailwheel), tailwires, and strut attach fittings; these areas take a lot of abuse during beach operations. It's a good idea to treat exposed bare metal areas with a topical corrosion preventive such as Corrosion-X or LPS3. Washing your landing gear frequently will require more frequent inspection and lubrication of wheel bearings. Also, you'll want to dry your brake discs immediately after washing to prevent rust.
Above all, address any signs of corrosion IMMEDIATELY.
