Corrosion proofing in temperate maritime environment

Hi,
I have started flying my Carbon Cub in Tasmania, Australia. I plan to land on local beaches and ask what anyone else has done to provide corrosion proofing for salt environment?
also, are there any particular areas of the Cub that are particularly susceptible to corrosion of this sort?
I would be interested to hear from anyone and also to find out what products you have tried.

Ian,

Anytime your Cub is operated in a maritime environment, frequent freshwater washing is critical. Pay particular attention to the landing gear (including tailwheel), tailwires, and strut attach fittings; these areas take a lot of abuse during beach operations. It's a good idea to treat exposed bare metal areas with a topical corrosion preventive such as Corrosion-X or LPS3. Washing your landing gear frequently will require more frequent inspection and lubrication of wheel bearings. Also, you'll want to dry your brake discs immediately after washing to prevent rust.

Above all, address any signs of corrosion IMMEDIATELY.

In addition to Corrosion X which really does work well, Try a regular wash down religiously with Salt Away . Just leave the soapy film on when in the salty environment ( even a wash down with Salt Away BEFORE you head out helps) and clean up later after you get home as that also helps alot but Corrosion-X or ACF-50 do the hard work in prevention
