    Default Cherry rivet heads

I etched and primed one aileron on one flap today. I had real trouble trying to get all the lint from the terry towel off the rivet heads. Each rivet grabbed something and the tack rag did not get rid of it. I had to pick each rivet clean. I use the wet towel for the first rinse after etching. My plan now is to not use the towel on the next one. Those rivets are buggers for grabbing stuff. Did any of you guys run into this issue?

I use painter rags, they won't leave lint. I get most of the water off then let them air dry. If I'm in a hurry I will use the air compressor to blow them dry.
