Flying in the mountains with 65mph winds got a little challenging at times. We used our onewheels for transportation everywhere.

Think it was 5 1/2 miles from johnson creek to yellow pine on our one wheels. Pretty cool ride there and back.

My new big engine XCUB on 35s. Preformed really well at the STOL demo. Fuel burn was about 8-10 gals less every fuel stop then the FX3 I was traveling with. At 75% power 5500í was 130-135TAS.

Is the aluminum leaf spring main gear now optional? I used to think that was a sure way to distinguish the XCub from the other models.

This is a EAB version not certified. So spring gear is a option on these.
