Local told us about a cool mine. The whole place looks as though they walked away yesterday from it.

Working our way back. Lots of beach landings. Picked up couple moose sheds. Today was Low ceilings gust to 45mph. Turbulence was probably the worst I’ve been in lasted for over a hr.UGH

7.2 hrs non stop Ketchikan to Orca. Low ceilings rain most of the way 25 mph head winds at times. Fuel quantity seemed sketchy at times. Had a Canadian Caravan pull up tight on my wing, He didn’t have much room at all between me and the ridge. Not sure if it was customs or just a visitor. Had some kind of dome on top. He didn’t like 65 GS I guess he dropped the flaps and headed on. Back in the lower 48. Headed to Gordons Grand Rapids.

More pics. The fuel used computer stops at 999.9 gals 😂,120hrs Lots of hrs and gas in 3 weeks. Paid as high as 10.40Gal in AK. Ugh.

Great turn out for toys for tots at my place. Jim Crane flew all the way from Maine to join us. 35 airplanes and just over 90 people showed up and 2 car load full of toys.
