Breakfast with the gang Saturday morning. Back yards are way to much fun. One way in and out. The challenge is kinda gone. Landing with 15-20 cross wind was easy. It was a little more challenging last night with a 15-20 on the tail. Still had plenty of room though.

Yep that’s with 1/2 fuel,35” tires and all my stuff in it. Just can’t beat a stock carbon cub performance.

Looks like the Highlander did quite a lot better on takeoff. (edited) Also seems to have done well on the landings that qualified.

From my perspective these STOL performance results don't mean very much unless the wind and density altitude is recorded. I see a left quartering head wind in the photo. How variable was the wind strength and direction?

Florida Outdoor Expo asked if I could fly a cub in for the show. He convinced the Fairgrounds to let me land on the property. There was a guy in the elevator at the concrete plant, he looked a little surprised as we went by. Trying to get a better video quality.

Flying in the mountains with 65mph winds got a little challenging at times. We used our onewheels for transportation everywhere.
