Great reading all the stories and seeing the pics from Gary and Chuck! I shot a deer a few weeks ago in s GA and I tell my buddy I'll be back to pick it up when it's ready from the processor. He said ok, I'll pick you up at the airport. I said nah, that wont be necessary anymore! I just got a Carbon Cub so I'll land right here in your backyard and get it. They didn't believe me. I was flying around my farm in Ga. last night my buddy in the back ask what that says on top of my neighbors deer stand. So as we come around to look we see it says (Chuck No FlyZone). We were still laughing when we landed
Then we had a nice tail wind coming home.

Here's was a fun one I saw a bunch of guys playing in airboats so I landed at there camp on the river. I landed out in a marsh and had taxied up to camp ,when I left I said hell I have plenty of room from here just move your boats out of the way I probably had 150+ ft. What I didn't realize Until I was committed that there was a big oak tree limb hanging over the trail I was on making it impossible to take off before I passed it and then get off before the trees in front of me. It was exciting for a second as it looked a lot closer from the inside.
