Meeting and Lunch for Florida cub flyers. Quail Creek hunting lodge happens to have a small lake they let us land in. I don’t think anything but a carbon cub could in and out of it probably 1000’ +/- surrounded by trees and quite a few obstacles,sunken trees and fountains you have to wiggle thru. The locals always get a kick out of us landing in it.

We put the easter bunny aside on Sunday, Its a lot more fun to hear grandkids talking about titan engines and carbon fiber.
At least I was allowed to dress them for Sunday dinner

My son Cavan finished his FX3 build today, Certifies tomorrow.

Cavan had a ball out there, he sent me a text.
(I think I want to get my Pilots License. It’s pretty BA at the factory)
Im gonna need a go fund me page for airplanes 😂
Cavan said the people at the factory are as excited about my new demo as I am. I do my final build next week.

We had Another successful Quail Creek flyin. 18 cubs and about 50 people came to this event. It truly a first class venue. The lodge and staff at Quail Creek are second to none. We had a spot landing and bomb drop contest. Then we loaded up on the buggies for a 3 mile ride thru the woods to the lodge for a fantastic lunch. Then we headed out to shoot a special sporting clays course set up just for our event, afterwards we cleaned up went to the bar for some cocktails then a perfect Steak dinner. We again loaded up on the buggies for a night ride and a BIG camp fire. Jim Crane was invited but he was to busy making potato seeds😂
Great weekend with great people.
