Long story but one of the guys in the super cub had to airline out. So Shane Decided to continue on with me. He had exactly 3 hrs in a SC and never been cross country. How’s that for your first one. He did a awesome job we had 2 airports gusting to 40 direct cross wind.

Yes I changed the oil AGAIN yesterday. Think I’m 65 hrs so far. Went up the Kinik yesterday they had a Flyin. My bride flew in yesterday to hang out too.

A day or two before the trade show last year I was riding in the backseat of a friend's PA18 and we flew up the Knik on what was a very windy but solid day. We landed on the gravel somewhere up there and I'm sure the 35" Bushwheels didn't make more than a full rotation when we landed and later took off. That sealevel air, cool temperatures and a nice headwind really makes airplanes perform.

Yep the wind up the KNIK is a blast hopefully get some over 30 before I leave and do some some 0 take off and landing.
