Just got back from OSH. Great trip with my friend Pete. Fought weather all day today but we finally got thru it. Got to compete with the Valdez STOL guys we had a blast. I got 2nd place. I lost day 1 by 2'. He beat me by 7' on T/O got him by 5' landing Combined T/O & LD 150' to 152'. I had the shortest landings on competition days. Came close but hard to beat a takeoff of highly modified 700Lb Aircraft with Nitrous.

Stayed at a really cool house. We had some really cool people stop by every night. Including Rosie the riveter. I figured they came to see me,but could of been cause the barn and fire pits were just way to cool!

I fly in On Sept 3 plan on hanging around Lake Placid area for couple-3 days do some flying with owner ,then to Greenville ME.

No it's doing quite well actually, don't even remember there being a fire there. I saw they now have teepee camping now along with Glamping. Anybody ever down this way nice stop and have a good rodeo every Saturday night.

That's good the recovered so quickly, was earlier this year. I'm from Vero Beach and had some friends out that was when they were burning.
