    Smile CarbonCub EX 2 Dimensions

As a prospective kit builder, are there some fuselage/wing dimensions available from the build manual that I might check against my modest garage where the aircraft might be built?

The fuse is the longest component when on the rotator. 24ft of length will give you room to get around it. 12ft wide would be minimum for getting around the wing when it is flat for painting. This of course is just work area and you will need place to store what you are not working on. 22ft min for length (Hard to get around) and if you have that for width you will have no trouble. Wing installation only needs to happen at the airport. Once the fuse is on the gear you can go corner to corner if you need more room.

    Hope that helps.

    Troy,

Thanks for dimensions. Do you have the fuse height on and off gear. I am thinking about access through workshop door. Don't think I can with gear on. So may need to make up jig to sit in adding gear later at airfield.

    Thanks Tim.

On 31's it is 7ft tall. Fuse at the wing is about 54".
