Here is a pretty good video for those flying into Johnson Creek for the first time:

The CubCrafters crew will host dinner Saturday evening. The menu will include "a stew that resembles chili but includes beans, pork and tomatoes". In deference to Texans, and others with strict sensibilities, I won't call it "chili", but I expect it will be very good!
Jim Richmond will also be bringing his latest brew, DEAD STICK ALE.
Is anyone leaving or going through the Salt Lake City area enroute to Johnson Creek on Tuesday or Wednesday? I flew up to SLC from PHX for the weekend to visit family and plan to head up to JC on Tuesday but would stay around till Wednesday if anyone is coming this way.
Thanks

Paul,
I'm leaving from the DFW area Monday, June 15 and will overnight in Santa Fe, NM. Tuesday, I could stop and over night in SLC. What airport are you operating out of in SLC? We could then leave for 3U2 on Wednesday. I'm hoping the Texas weather will not give me a problem.

John, my plane is parked at South Valley Regional (U42) just south of SLC International. The folks at Leading Edge Aviation are friendly and free overnight with a fuel purchase.
That would work fine for me, leaving early Wednesday morning, if Texas weather permits you to be here by Tuesday.
Keep me posted if you have time. I'll send you a message with my contact info.
