Default Electric Trim Switch Sticking - aft only

Has anyone else had the electric trim switch stick in the aft position (have to click forward to unstick it)? Any easy solution?

I used a little silicon spray. It helped but there is probably a better solution

    Mine has stuck on occasion.
    i don't have a solution.
seems to be a low quality switch.
    CC needs to redesign.

Occasionally I have run across one that sticks that has a small burr around the hole the black part of the switch sticks out of. You might check for that. I have had some success cleaning the burr off with a small xacto knife.

Otherwise the only other permanent solution is to R&R the stick. The knob/switch assembly is not replaceable independently of the stick as it is pressed in.

    Is it in warranty still?

Went out of warranty in Jan. Checked and no burrs but back side of rocker switch shows small wear area. Trying a little lube to see if helps.

It happened in my S2. IIRC a shpritz of WD40 fixed it.

I used a couple drops of Boelube and it has solved the problem. Haven't had it sticks since.
