Gastons is only 4 weeks away. It will be here before you know it better get your reservations ASAP. Scot does a great job with this event! Talking to Scot at SNF he has some great Ideas for the STOL contest and some cool places for flyouts.
Its the best event I have attend. Don't miss out!

Ozark Backcountry Fly-in 2015

Below see attached registration / waiver form, and preview of competition rules. These are preliminary rules and procedures, they may change slightly as we survey the competition, and fly out areas. We will be adding sites Monday thru Wednesday as we fly with locals.

Please read and sign registration / waiver. You can turn in signed registration form upon arrival, for your participant wrist band. Once you have turned in your completed registration / waiver form and received your wrist band you will receive a printed landing strip sheet.

We will work off this sheet as we tour the Arkansas back country. With the dynamic weather patterns and some potentially water soaked areas, the strips and competition day and times we use could change.

Please advise your friends of this post..

Plan to be flexible but we will have fun!!

Looking at STOL Compitition Friday and Saturday evening at Gastons, and spot landing Saturday or Sunday morning at thunder ridge, however wx, may dictate slightly different schedule..

Here is a video from when Scot and I snuck away and decided to go play on a little ultra light strip in a valley,he can be a bad influence some times. This how you leave a valley strip in two carbon Cubs and get everybody's attention.
