Hey Scott it'd be good to see you down there. I haven't camped at Sun n Fun before but there's likely a bunch of people on this forum that have so you could start a thread with your questions.

    Hi Paul,

let te me know when you are planning on coming through Texas you are welcome to join us on the way down.
You can land in the grass here at 5TX0. Or if you are north of dallas Ceadar Mills has a nice grass strip and cabins, no fuel. http://www.cedarmills.com

if you are on a more southern route. The hanger hotel is a great stop. I have not actually stayed there but heard nothing but great things. http://www.hangarhotel.com

We will be leaving 5TX0 the 18th if you want to join us.

Hey Scot...sure would like to join you. There's a good chance a friend from around Houston is going to jump in with me. He lives near Grawunder (06R). I planned on leaving from there on the 18th as well. Can you give me an idea of your route and I'd look to intercept you somewhere enroute. Where do you estimate you might stop Saturday night?

    Thanks
    Paul

I am a volunteer at Sun n Fun. I am one of the folks that tells you where to park. We have our last work day tomorrow. Let me know if I can answer any questions.

Hey Eddie, thanks for the offer to help. Here's a few questions....
    1) What are my options for camping with my E-AB aircraft.
    2) I'm assuming I can camp in the Home built camping on the east side but If I'm there, what's allowed for moving my plane in and out of that camping area for flights during the week?
    3) If I do want to fly during the week, would it be better to park my plane in the HB parking area and just camp in one of the other campgrounds?

    Thanks for your help

    Paul,

Donna Franz is the parking goddess and has been for over 20 years. She asks that you call her and she will answer all your questions.
