Hello,
Well, Oshkosh has come and gone and I would like to start out by thanking all of you that stopped by our booth and visited with our staff. We had some new CubCrafters representation there this year including, Randy Lervold our new General Manager, Steve Hamblin our Chief Engineer, Brenda Clasen our Sales Coordinator (also known as the happy person you talk to when you call CubCrafters), and Becky Teerink our Customer Support and Warranty Manager.
Above is a picture of our SUPER SportCub/Carbon Cub prototype and a Sport Cub S2 sitting at Camp CubCrafters in Oshkosh, WI. Camp CubCrafters is a small grass strip/campground located about 7 miles northeast of the Oshkosh show airport. CubCrafters Staff is found there nightly during the week of the annual Oshkosh show, giving demo rides, cooking and entertaining interested parties that came by the booth at Oshkosh looking to purchase an aircraft and get one on one time with our sales staff.
Oshkosh is always a good time to see what’s new and this year CubCrafters had a SUPER SportCub displayed which attracted many spectators, from the folks looking for a factory built aircraft to the individuals looking for a home build project that will amaze many with its modern design and top performance. The SUPER SportCub and the Carbon Cub are virtually twins, both qualifying for the LSA category and living up to their name, as the new generation of high performance S.T.O.L. aircraft.
Thanks again to all of you that stopped by to see us at Oshkosh 2009 and also thank you to all of you who continue to follow CubCrafters as we introduce new products, designs and innovations. As always we are striving to lead the pack with this ground breaking new SUPER SportCub, or for our home builders, our Carbon Cub Kit. If you have any questions, I would be happy to hear from you at mitch@cubcrafters.com.
Until next time... Happy Flying!
Mitch Travis
