That is a big footprint for a Cub. My new straights are about 1300 sq inches.

I like it Glenn. What year is the truck?
My wife isn't near as fond of winter as I am but she got a dose of cabin fever yesterday and agreed to her first ski plane flight. It was if she took a pill that gave her an immediate cure.

There are no planes more fun to fly than a Cub and no Cub more fun than one on skis.

Unique is the word that comes to mind. Can't be as fun as a Cub though

It started out about -20 here this morning but warmed up to zero with nothing but sun in the afternoon. I headed to a reservoir west of here and made close to 100 landings out there and laid miles of tracks. No wind and great flying conditions.
Tonight they're saying -24. Some, like me, like it. Others not so much.

Until FMD showed up it looked like a cub crafters and summit ski commercial.
Joe sure can cook a mean prime rib. Great to meet VTglenn.
Next time we will get some more planes. Still have some hangar space.
I was surprised to see Jim has taken over the smoke show.
