Good, keep the pictures coming and let me know how you like the PPG. I am planing on that for my trim colors as well.

Yeah, I'm interested to see what happens when I go from shooting Poly-Brush/Spray, which has half the viscosity of the Urethane to the PPG. No prior spray experience, other than rattle cans...it's been interesting!

Well it's been a fight but today marks the end of Poly-Spray! Starting moving parts to spray booth and ready for the PPG to make 0078 CC Yellow! I will be so happy once paint it OVER!

Looking good! How many coats of poly spray?
So I had equipment, temperature and general inexperience issues in the application of poly brush and poly spray. With that said I used 12 gal of poly spray, I had three cross coats of poly spray applied and then to correct some of the aforementioned issues, wet sanded 90% of it onto the floor. Then reapplied 2 cross coats on top of what remained after sanding. It was a learning experience, proper lighting (still don't have enough), proper training (still don't have enough) and proper equipment go a long way. Trying to maintain temp as winter approaches has me moving the plane to an actual paint booth (temp control, lighting, downdraft) for the application of the PPG should go much smoother. First batch goes into the booth this week.
