George Braly just took off in an experimental World Peace™ TDN SR 22, N223TN with both tanks topped with G100UL. He is on a long cross country back to Boston.
N223TN will be in full World Peace mode functioning on the experimental electronic wastegate controller - - and with no lead in the tanks. The engine is a high compression 8.5:1 turbonormalized engine.
He will be operating the engine at 350 BHp rather than its presently rated 310 Bhp.
After a gas stop in Lexington, he will top off tanks, fully mixing the G100UL left in the tanks with the 100LL at Lexington.
You can follow him on FightAware.
An exciting day for those who worry about the future of leaded fuel in aviation.
